this thing going on with this bill right now reminds me of the days in the 80's where mr o'neil aka tip, house speaker, put something together called the "veto proof" bill. 1400 pages if memory serves, in that was the foundation of the "iran contra" investigation where ol Ollie North blew them away on live tv; he was accused of violating something in the 1400 pages otherwise it would have never happened.
