I know this is very belated and you make lots of comments already, but finding Pages to "like" and Groups to "join" will help fill your timeline with posts, articles, etc. while you navigate the site and find people you wish to "Friend." Once you start making "Friend" connections, their posts, articles, memes, images, etc. will also be in your timeline. Posting on your own page also helps.
Allow me to introduce myself.
I am an older man living with my wife between the Great Lakes and the Ohio River in a rural setting now, although we resided for a number of decades in the city. I have an interest in, and have studied History and Physics. I have also instructed of both of these in my teaching career.
I have little experience with ‘Social Media’ and it will take some time for me to get the hang of it.
