Fastnet Lighthouse, located on Fastnet Rock off the coast of County Cork, Ireland.
It is the tallest lighthouse in Ireland, standing at 177 ft (54 m).
The lighthouse is built from Cornish granite blocks and was first lit in 1904.
Due to its location as the last sight of Ireland for travelers sailing to the US, it earned the nickname "Ireland's Teardrop".
The lighthouse is exposed to powerful waves during storms, which can rise significantly above the light, causing the tower to vibrate.
Cockspur Island Lighthouse was first established in 1833 to guide ships entering the Savannah River. The current brick tower dates to 1857, replacing earlier structures damaged by storms. It sits near Fort Pulaski and was vital for coastal and river navigation. The light was deactivated in 1909 and today survives as a historic ruin, often photographed because of its isolation and distinctive brick form.

Pouto Lighthouse stands on the Pouto Peninsula at the southern entrance to Kaipara Harbour on New Zealand’s North Island. The original lighthouse was established in 1889 to help guide ships through the notoriously dangerous Kaipara entrance, which has claimed many wrecks due to shifting sandbars and strong currents.
The structure has been relocated and rebuilt multiple times because of coastal erosion. The present lighthouse is a small wooden tower accessed by a stairway through forested dunes and cliffs—exactly what appears in your image. Today it is fully automated, no longer staffed, and maintained as a historic navigation aid.
