Living here in Virginia Beach where the mass shooting occurred yesterday. Please, pray for the victims.
Anyone of us could have been there. It's the locale where the bulk of the city's legal transactions take place. Nearly everyone who lives here had been to the municipal center more than once.
There was no way anyone could have predicted this guy's intentions. No gun control law, short of a total ban, would have stopped this monster. But a total confiscation only leads to far worse problems and invites dictatorship.
