I'm really ticked off at Facebook right now! I have stuck with FB until now because I regularly need to post ads for a horse show that needs to get new people showing with us. I'm not sure how much exposure this site gets so I thought I would give it a while before using it to post about our shows.
Well, the time i getting close to happening. I posted about a show and paid to "boost" it. Today, I got a notice that my ad had been canceled because their rules were not followed. Mind you, I have been boosting our shows for a couple of years and used the same abbreviation many times! They said that the reason they canceled it was because I had used FB instead of spelling out Facebook. Wow, such a ridiculous thing to cancel an ad that I paid for! It only had two more days to run!
I wrote in an a place that asked for my opinion about how they could improve their site. I said, that they should quit acting like dictators! And said that it shouldn't be a cause to cancel my ad, just because I shortened Facebook to FB. What a bunch of nitpickers. They are so out of control!
