A 67-year-old Belgian woman was allegedly raped by an illegal migrant who requires a Berber language translator, typically spoken by Moroccans, in the Belgian city of Morstel outside a Moroccan café.

In harrowing detail, the woman’s lawyer, Manon Cop, describes how the man “pushed his tongue into the woman’s mouth, groped her everywhere, and held her down.” The victim was only saved when a neighbor alerted police due to the woman’s screams.

“He is the type of perpetrator that every parent warns their child about,” said the victim’s lawyer. “My client is now back in psychiatry.” She says the illegal migrant has shown little sign of any guilt about the incident.

Two suspects have been arrested for dangerous actions they allegedly took to interfere with federal authorities rounding up suspected human traffickers in California.

On Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that suspects have been charged following an incident that unfolded in February in the Los Angeles area.

Gustavo Torres, 28, and Kiara Jaime-Flores, 34, were both charged with conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer.

A French juvenile court sentenced a 16-year-old Afghan migrant to eight years in prison on Wednesday for the fatal stabbing of Matisse Marchais, a 15-year-old French boy, in a case that sparked national outrage and intensified public scrutiny of France’s immigration policies.

Rahman M., who was also 15 at the time of the attack in April 2024, was convicted by the Châteauroux juvenile criminal court following a three-day closed-door trial. The court also imposed an additional 15 years of socio-judicial monitoring after his release.

The teenager faced a maximum sentence of 15 years under French juvenile law, but the court ruled that he had a “significant impairment of discernment,” leading to a reduced prison term.
