MIXING HOLY WITH THE PROFANE

Another example is Belshazzar (Daniel 5), who took holy vessels from the temple home “for personal use” during a feast. What happened? His kingdom was taken from him that night!
The Enemy has had years of deceiving us so that most now believe God and His Word have somehow changed, and that the Old Testament is now somehow insignificant. That is A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL. You have heard these lies purported as “truth” when Believers say: “God’s Law doesn’t matter, we are under grace,” “If we obey God’s commands we are under bondage” or “It doesn’t matter; God knows my heart.” LIES, LIES . . . ALL LIES. In every instance, IT MATTERS TO GOD! Yes, of course, God knew they were worshiping Him or, rather, “going through the motions” of worshiping Him. So, then, the problem wasn’t their worship . . . RIGHT? What was the problem?
1 Samuel 15:22-23 “And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE, AND TO HEARKEN THAN THE FAT OF RAMS.23 For REBELLION IS THE SIN OF WITCHCRAFT, AND STUBBORNESS IS AS INIQUITY AND IDOLATRY. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”
OBEDIENCE . . . IT’S ALL ABOUT OBEDIENCE!
Is it still not clear what the Enemy has done? John 10:10 tells us that he comes ONLY to steal, kill and destroy. That is the ONLY focus of the Enemy. He wants to steal proper worship from God; he wants to separate us from God; he wants to destroy our effectiveness for the kingdom. He wants to kill the presence of the Holy Spirit in our churches. He wants to mix the profane (worldly) with the Holy by accepting worldly performance in worship, worldly (indecent) dress, etc.
Very few churches can be found today that teach the ENTIRE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD! Could this be why so many Christians are satisfied watching hours and hours, day after day, of sin on television, unaware they are being filled with it – until what overflows from their hearts IS SIN – until they are no longer convicted about living like the world. Instead, they are conformed to the world. See Romans 12:2; Isaiah 5:20-24; Deuteronomy 4:24.
Therefore, our worship of God is to be pure and holy and is not to be mixed with the common, profane (definitely NOT PAGAN) things of the world. We must not think that God will accept any form of worship while we are in direct disobedience to His Word, while His Word teaches that those who did that very thing were rejected or even destroyed by God!!
Job 14:4 “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.” In other words, God says IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to make anything He considers unclean/profane into something clean/holy . . . IMPOSSIBLE>
2 Corinthians 6:14 “What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”
It's time that we “get real” and reject the “relaxed worldly attitude” and get back to "thus saith the Lord" rather than choosing to follow the Enemy’s lead. We are living in End Times and we need to be alert to the Enemy’s wiles. He is working with all lying wonders and powers to deceive the very elect."
If you believe, “God knows I don’t worship pagan gods; He knows my heart;” I WARN AND PLEAD WITH YOU to STUDY the truth of God’s Word; to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, and soberly think long and hard about what happened to Nadab and Abihu, Belshazzar, and Cain. The Bible CLEARLY demonstrates that God does not accept any/every form of worship. He is a Holy God; One whose righteousness demands from us Godly fear, complete reverence, worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24) and OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS (WORD).
