Though the Holy Spirit should never take preeminence over Jesus Christ, we sometimes ignore the important work He does through us. Without Him prayer would be impossible, there would never be a Bible, nor assurance of salvation, indeed no salvation at all. By indwelling us the Holy Spirit creates an abode for The Father and the Son within us.
