My letter to Lindsey Graham.
Let me start off on a positive note. I am thrilled with the tweet you sent to ex director Comey and hope you intend to follow through with what you told him. I have already told you that I am very grateful at what you said at the Justice Kavanaugh hearing, and stand behind you 100%. I have lately sir been proud to call you my Senator!
Now for the bad part. According to several media outlets you are quoted as saying “every right has its limits” during the march 26st Senate Judiciary Committee hearing focused on red flag laws. I certainly hope this is not your true feelings sir. The only limits imposed on our rights are limits created by our elected officials. The main problem with these red flag laws (other than they are unconstitutional) are the number of activists….Yes I said ACTIVISTS in charge of our courtrooms now instead of judges. Case in point. It only took one man to reverse the results of a general vote in North Carolina a few weeks ago. One man undid what the majority of voters in an entire state voted for! That’s a huge problem! And now it seems you are willing to place my constitutional rights into their close minded, partisan, activist hands! I certainly hope not!
I have read that you are FOR allowing teachers with CCW to carry at school…Bravo!
I have also read that you are against any so called assault weapons ban….again.....Bravo!
Please don’t fall for this sir. Please don’t legislate our rights away. Please feel free to call me and discuss this further.
Think I'll get a call? I'm not gonna hold my breath.
