Has anyone else noticed that stores do not stock as much items as they use say 4 years ago? Since mid 2019-ish the stock in stores has decreased, and it takes longer to get items that you now have to order.
Or if you do have order something from a store it now takes for ever to those items, or the store just doesn't call you that the item has come in, or is no longer available. The communication as well as the stock just isn't there anymore.

Just something to ponder, our supply chain, and the local store's stock are not going back to being plentiful folks, so if you hand craft items, are a handyman and do repairs, and so forth... keep a habit of replacing things that you use frequently, and to keep a little stock of items that you do use, so you have those certain items to tie you over while you are waiting for ordered items to come in.

I really do not see this issue getting any better, but I see it getting worse.
Another thing, is the prices of items keep going up, may items have doubled in cost, so if you can stock up some items that you can afford to, and you use those items... it is best to get those items when you see them, to keep a little bit of a stock on them.
Americans should not have to live like this, but there seems to be some kind of global nefarious stuff going on with our supply chain and the availability of goods, foods, etc., and not enough Americans seem to even notice or acknowledge this.

Just something to ponder and prepare for.

Made a trellis out of an old bicycle rim, and some reclaimed fence slates, so I can plant some banana beans next to some corn I planted last week.
The trellis is 4 pieces of 6 foot fence slates, 1 700c bicycle rim attached 36" from the bottom of the fence slates, a scrap piece of 2"x4", 4 bolts to hold the rim to the fence slates and some deck screws to attach the 2"x4" at the top of the fence slates.
I have to get some string to attach to my trellis and after I sow my seeds I will attach the string to the trellis for the beans to grow up the trellis.
(Sometimes in gardening, like in life... you just have to get creative with what supplies you have handy at the time.)

Note: I did like the construction of this trellis, it is sturdy.
So I may see if I can find some old bent wheels at the bicycle co-op or locally and use them to make a few more trellis' for some other veggies I plan on planting in a few weeks.
I put those removable frames around my corn I planted so I don't mow the corn over until the corn stalks grow and are recognizable.

Made a wooden dragon dice holder for playing Dungeons and Dragons, this will keep the dice organized and for players to use when they have to roll a certain dice.
This is newest style I've made as far as dice holders.
Past wooden dice holders I've created and made will be posted in the comment section of this posting.
These unique and fun and add the gaming experience when playing dice role playing games.

Going to be working on some wooden Gnome Hook and Ring stands next, stay tuned for finished photos. We still have some rain so I gotta wait for a nicer day to cut out and sand parts for those Hook and Ring stands and their scoring blocks.

The three Hook and Ring stands that I started this week are now all finished, here they are.

I enjoy making wooden wall hanging decoration boards and other various items out of wood. This page shows the wooden items that I make, and can make.
I only make items for local purchases and I only take cash for items that I make and sell.
