Back in 1981, I co-founded the Mamaroneck Lacrosse Club (which became the Sound Shore Lacrosse Club). I wore #39 as a tribute to my favorite football player, Larry Csonka.
To my delight and amazement, I found that I could still fit into it, almost 40 years later.
After a 50-plus year hiatus, I took up archery again in 2016. On my 64th birthday, I took a third in a competition in Hooksett, NH.
Seen in deep space by the Hubble Telescope, it has been named "Heaven's Gate."
Former marine biologist and college professor. Not sure if it's time to retire.
