JRR Tolkien said that myths are not fairy tales, intentional lies, or mere fabrications, but are instead powerful vehicles for revealing the world’s deepest truths. All myths, he argued, illuminate layers and dimensions of existence that are often missed by our narrow human vision.
C.S. Lewis said, “The story of Christ is simply a true myth: a myth working on us the same way as the others, but with this tremendous difference that it really happened: and one must be content to accept it in the same way, remembering that it is God’s myth where the others are men’s myths: i.e., the Pagan stories are God expressing Himself through the minds of poets, using such images as He found there, while Christianity is God expressing Himself through what we call 'real things'."

The polarization & riots we see in the streets reflect the condition of the human soul. No, not just their souls, but my soul and your soul.
Are we letting our light shine brightly? Are we a positive force for transformation? What comes out of our mouths, or our social media posts?
How difficult it is to not become part of the problem, adding fuel to the polarization. Why is it so difficult to be a healer and peace maker? I join with Paul in sighing, "Oh wrethced man that I am" (Romans 7:24).
BUT thanks be to God. THIS is the day the Lord has made. With each new morning, we are given a new chance to breath life, think life, speak life, and BE life. Selah.
