Someone asked me to join a FB group that is standing against racism. Here is what I sent them, which I am waiting to see if the moderator posts it.
While we stand against racism, we must not make nonsensical statements that “this never will happen again.” Racism is a matter of the heart which only Christ can change for the positive. Ecclesiasties tells us there is nothing new under the sun. People are sinners, and one aspect of this is racism.
What we are reacting to is a small group of people led by a very bad sinner, who committed a crime. Painting all society as “Systemically racist” is turning out to be a worse sin, as the demonstrations have killed a lot more people and caused a lot more damage than the initial egregious act, many are “self-righteously and UNRIGHTEOUSLY protesting!
We violate God’s Ten Commandments against each other because we are sinners! Thinking you can justify your version of that sin in the name of “social justice” does not change how God will Judge us for committing those violations of HIS COMMANDMENTS!
God is going to judge us by His Commandments and how His Word defines them! Repent now because it is a fearful/terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the Living God! (Hebrews 10:31)
There is only one way to get forgiveness and salvation from the penalty of our sins. The Bible says in John 3:16 “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, so that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life!”
Romans 6:23 is our problem. As it says, “All have sinned and fallen short.
John 3:16 is the solution!
God loves us, but He indeed will judge us, if we fail to come to Him on His uncompromising terms!
