I have a Pentecostal heritage having been raised in the Church of God-Cleveland, Tennessee. My Dad was a Licensed Church of God Minister.

My Pentecostal blood line goes back to my maternal Grandmother Ima Lee who was originally Pentecostal Holiness before becoming a pioneering Church of God member.In those days she held church in her home. My mother was raised in the Church of God. Daddy's family was not Pentecostal, but were Primitive Baptists. My dad became Church of God when converting to Christ through his Army "Buddy" during World War II. He met my mother through a revival in Crockett, Texas. He and Mama had a mutual friend..named Reverend Allie Woodard.
