This is a photo when I was stationed in Afghanistan in 2013. This was the Roman Catholic Community at Camp Eggers, Afghanistan. I'm in the back row and the 4th soldier on the left.
This is a photo of my commissioning day when I made 2LT (second lieutenant) in the US Army. The tradition is that I give one silver dollar to the first enlisted man that I salute. And that is my Dad.
