I've been making candles with from Grass-fed cows and they are amazing!! I've been burning one while I do the dishes and I had forgotten how calming it is to watch a candle burn!?
I had given up using candles for YEARS just because they are filled with so many toxic chemicals. So I am sooooo very excited that I can finally have a totally CLEAN burning candle. (Hey, and it is even edible!?)
I have been working on so many projects this summer and excited to share them with my friends as I release them one-by-one.

I have tallow only candles and ones that are a tallow/beeswax combo.

Grass-fed Tallow is ultra rich in the same kinds of lipids that are found naturally in youthful, healthy looking skin. Grass-fed tallow also contains fat-soluble Vitamins A, D, E & K and Vitamin B12. It is intrinsically balanced by nature, with no further improvement or enrichment needed. These properties, including Triglycerides, which allow for the easy absorption of nutrients, as well as antioxidants, provide the key elements we need to maintain healthy, sturdy, cell integrity and tone. The fatty acids in pure grass-fed tallow are similar in molecular structure and composition to those found in the protective outer layer of human skin and in naturally produced skin oils (sebum). This makes grass fed tallow highly skin compatible, allowing it to absorb easily into the skin to improve the protective barrier function of the skin, prevent moisture loss and regenerate the appearance of healthy, youthful looking skin.
