I’ll lay it out for you...right here...right now. After reading several times, share your thoughts. Agree, disagree, I don’t care. Share with everyone you know, who does care.
But, after reading this, and my previous posts, regarding “civil war” in our time, maybe, just maybe... you might just start to understand it.
Here goes...
Why was Jacob Blake shot seven times?
Two days ago, that guy in Lancaster, PA, that was shot and killed after raging out the storm door of his mom’s house, holding a knife with a ten inch blade, and charging at the cop, who pulled his weapon the moment he saw the knife…and the perp was fatally shot.
The officer reacted in less than two seconds, and did his job. The knife guy died on the sidewalk in front of his mom, who was screaming. It didn’t have to be this way.
What was the officers job? No one seems to be able to explain this, or articulate it to the masses. NO one. And THAT right there is the crux of this nation’s law and order problems.
The reason we have laws, rules, police, prison, and the court systems, is broken down into SIX simple words, which I have YET to see one single person say, ANYWHERE. What are those six words?
“Safety and security…of the COMMUNITY.”
THAT is what all of this is about. Noncompliance by bad actors of the community, who are given a choice, and chance, to comply with lawful direction by law enforcement officers.
When the perp chooses not to comply, the officers follow their agencies “use of force” matrix, which is upped one level at a time, and ends with deadly force, when needed, to provide that “safety and security” for the people at large, who have done nothing wrong, and who expect law and order to keep them safe.
I’m sorry Blake was shot, but his non-compliance threatened the officers, AND the community. He had every chance to do the right thing. EVERY chance.
He chose poorly. Now he’s an example to the community that noncompliance with lawful orders has consequences.
This does NOT mean protest, threaten, or demand action be taken against the cop, the police, the mayor or the community. Period.
Now, the same rules apply to MOBS. And you know whom I’m referring to. Noncompliance of multiple bad actors can and will lead to raising the use of force matrix to shut them down.
Rioting, property destruction, blocking traffic, looting, arson, attempted murder, and actual murder, are all AGAINST THE LAW. Several of those are FELONIES.
Just because there’s 300 of you, or 10,000, does not make it legal. And just because local DAs don’t press charges, or mayors and city councilmen drop all charges, does not make any of them any less guilty.
A city, state, or country without rule of law, leads to anarchy, rebellion, and government overthrow…all of these can and will lead to lethal force very quickly. Why? Because we need to have SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE COMMUNITY.
You can put your spouse, children, parents and friends in your place. Do you want safety and security for them? Of course you do. We ALL do.
That’s the bottom line. I cannot state this ANY plainer.
Noncompliance leads to bad things. Comply, and you’ll walk free again, soon.
