Ben is a retired veteran serving his God, family and community; developing our most precious resource is his calling.

Ben served over 12 years on active duty with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army including four combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Ben retired from the Alaska Army National Guard with 21 years of military service.

Ben is fully engaged in his community. He helps manage a growing company specializing in marine and industrial coatings and leads his family owned and operated commercial Peony farm while serving as President of the Alaska Peony Market Cooperative. Ben is honored to serve as a member of the State Legislature representing the northern Kenai Peninsula in the Alaska House of Representatives.

Ben has been blissfully married for 24 years and has four children and one grandchild.
