Regarding the recent House Financial Services Committee meeting, does anyone know why Maxine Waters didn't just adjourn the meeting, or why Steven Mnuchin didn't simply leave? Would there have been any consequences had he walked out or was this just a matter of optics?

I'm new to USA.Life and this is my first post. I really like what I'm seeing so far. I used to enjoy Facebook but it quickly left a bad taste in my mouth, and that was years ago.
