Happy June 13 birthday to Gerrit Muis. Every family needs a hero and he is ours. He was so angry when the Nazis invaded Holland that he joined the resistance. In my youth, everybody knew someone who had survived World war II. These days, as veterans - both civilian and military - expire, their accomplishments are overlooked. It's a mistake.
