The testimony of the LORD is sure,

making wise the simple.

David in Psalm 19:7

"The LORD, the LORD God,

merciful and gracious,

longsuffering,

and abounding in goodness and truth,

keeping mercy for thousands,

forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin,

by no means clearing the guilty,

visiting the iniquity of the fathers

upon the children and the children's children

to the third and fourth generation."

The LORD God describing (Testifying of) Himself in Exodus 34:6,7.

Hi Everybody

The Scripture cannot be broken.

If He called them gods,

to whom the word of God came

( and the Scripture cannot be broken),

do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified

and sent into the world,

'You are blaspheming,'

because I said,

'I am the Son of God'?

John 10:35 of 35,36 of 31-39

The word means:-

break, break up, destroy,

loose, loosen, dissolve, melt, put off.

Whatever means you take to change Scripture

its truth is eternal and unchanging.

We must accept and receive its message.

Your word is truth.

"Sanctify them by Your truth.

Your word is truth."

Jesus praying in John 17:17

Throughout John 17 the Greek word for 'word' is 'logos'.

With one exception.

In verse eight the Greek is 'rhema'.

Jesus was solidly grounded in the

Old Testament Scriptures (logos)

Jesus knew who He was in God by the rhema words

that He received from the Father.

These rhema were in keeping with the Old Testament.

Likewise we are a people set apart for God's use.

Rejected by the world but precious to God.

Hi Everybody

No prophecy of Scripture

is of any private interpretation,

for prophecy never came by the will of man,

but holy men of God spoke

as they were moved by

the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:19 of 19,20

In the town where I live

a religious group recently delivered

a booklet to every household,

hoping, presumably, to enlist more members.

John has been reading their booklet

and telling me about it.

It reeks of private interpretation!!!

Let God's Word speak for itself

and minister to our hearts

through the Holy Spirit.
