THANKSGIVING
So It's coming upon that time of year again when we need to thank the Lord for the things we are thankful for. I know I have a lot to be thankful for this year. In spite of the unrest in our country the Lord has blessed me with a new car, and a awesome, beautiful, and holy woman to share my life with. He has been so good to me. I would like you all to post below the things that you are thankful for. The best thing I am thankful for is that God sent his only son down to this earth to pay the price for this old unworthy souls sins. God is rich in grace, and mercy. A lot of us are so forgetful to thank God for the little things, and well as the big things. I want to post some scriptures to let you see just how important it is to be thankful for these things in our lives;
1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Psalms 107:1 - O give thanks unto the LORD, for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
Ephesians 5:20 - Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
2 Corinthians 9:15 - Thanks [be] unto God for his unspeakable gift.
Psalms 106:1 - Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
SO you see how important it is to be thankful for all the Lord blesses us with. Just the little things like food on our table, clothes on our backs, a roof over our heads, and plenty to drink. These are things we sometimes take for granted, but we should be thankful. You see Jesus didn't have to come die for us but he loved us that much. So let's be thankful daily for his blessings.
