I think it’s normal for us to doubt ourselves when we first begin something new. After all, we barely know what we’re doing when we first begin. That’s how I always felt the first year starting something new. But starting the second year, things get a lot easier. And once we think positively and know God made us capable, great things begin to happen.

Action cannot take place unless it is first in the mind. Or what is in the will must first be in the intellect. We need to think we can if we ever expect to act.

And the more we act, fix our mistakes, and repeat, the more we believe we can do it. It’s okay to doubt, but know God is with you, and will take you to the top - whatever that may be for you in life!

About two years ago, Janisse and I got to enjoy a great time on our honeymoon in Quintana Roo. It was relaxing to getaway for a week amidst our schedules at the time. Thinking of Cinco de Mayo yesterday reminded me of this trip to Mexico. So beautiful and peaceful. Always a joy seeing and experiencing God’s creation with my wonderful and beautiful wife.

The Vidanta resort we stayed at was wonderful. The best so far. Great food, beautiful beaches, courteous staff, heated pools, peaceful rooms, live performances, palm trees everywhere, and even some iguanas near our trail.

Looking forward to our next mini vacation in a couple weeks back to CA & Mexico for my mother’s Bday, wonderful friend’s engagement, and my childhood cousin’s wedding. Always a blessing to explore God’s world and visit family and friends at the same time. Pray for all of them and us!

I used to think retirement was an age - 65 to be exact. I thought it just happened; everyone just gets to stop working and relax, spend more time with the kids and family, ?‍?‍?‍? go on vacations, volunteer when they want, and get to explore the world the last 20 years of their life.

Wasn’t until later that I realized only the people that invested for their future and had passive income coming in got to really retire. ? Everyone else had to work til the day they died - unless they had someone to take care of them.

Also, after hearing many different business and investment stories, I realized people are retiring a lot sooner than 65. Some are retiring at 55, some at 45, and some even at 35. I realized retirement wasn’t an age, but a lifestyle earned by making proper investment decisions throughout one’s life. And the earlier we begin investing, the earlier we can enjoy the fruits of our labor. ?

I don’t really think life is all about relaxation. But it’s sure great to have the net worth to be able to relax when you want and pursue whatever your calling is and not be constrained by lack of funds. ?
