This is a letter I wrote to our Fox 17 News station last week. It seems like every time we turn it on, all we hear is something about the Titans or NFL.
"We have been faithful viewers of Fox 17 in the mornings for years. However, it is getting more and more difficult to listen to all the hype about the Titans and NFL. We used to be an NFL and MLB family, but no more, not since they chose to glorify the BLM movement. Yes black lives matter, all lives matter,but the BLM movement is a Marxis organization, with the aim of destroying America as we have known it. If all these multi-millionaire cry-babies in the major league sports teams, want to really do some good, they would take some of their millions and donate it to help some of the minority neighborhoods in large cities. Or they could donate money for scholarships to minority led colleges, like TSU, Fisk or Meharry. Instead of doing something that might actually help, they spend their money on painting basketball courts, and printing divisive jerseys. All of this is a slap in the face to all the brave heroic Americans who have given his or her lives in defense of our great American flag, and our exceptional country, where people have risked life and limb to get to over the years. I am blessed, I was born in this great Republic, but it breaks my heart to hear people disparage it, and those who love and protect it. By giving all this hype to the Titans and NFL, in essence you are agreeing with what they are doing. Shame on you."
