Our side has go to stop being so defeatist. Despite the unanimous opposition of the media, Hollywood, academia, and Silicon Valley, despite being outspent two-to-one, despite four years of constant and vicious opposition including non-stop riots and physical assaults, we still fought them to a 50/50 tie in Congress and beat them in the state legislatures.
Nobody is attracted to defeatism. People are attracted to a winning optimistic attitude. That's how Trump won in 2016. This fight is nowhere near over. We need to suck it up and get back on track. We can fix the election processes at the state level. We largely control redistricting next year. We can take back the House and the Senate in two years.
As they always do, the Democrats will over-reach with radical proposals and nasty language. They will alienate enormous numbers of voters.
Stop worrying and get back to work!
