Thankful I have Jesus, My Everything

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20 NIV

I am thankful I have everything... I have everything, because I have Jesus, and when you have Jesus you have everything! Even during the times when I'm seemingly down to nothing I still have everything, because I have Jesus. He's everything I need and more! Putting it simply, Jesus is my everything! He's my best friend! "LORD, ... You are everything I need in this life." Psalm 142:5 NIRV

I am thankful for who I am in Jesus. I am content in knowing that I am His and He is mine. Money cannot buy what I have with Him. I have a faith that is steadfast and strong, a faith that no one can take from me. Faith is what holds me together. "You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought. It’s healthy to be content." Matthew 5:5 MSG, Proverbs 14:30a CEV

Jesus is my confidence. I live in victory, because of Jesus. I trust Him for everything in my life. Jesus is my confidant. I can share with Him the most intimate details of my life. I can trust Him with everything, because He knows everything there is to know about me. My confidence is in Him knowing that His Word to me is true. He will never let me down. "O Almighty LORD. You have been my confidence ever since I was young. Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him." Psalm 71:5b GW, Jeremiah 17:7 NIV

Proverbs 3:26a NASB says, "The LORD will be your confidence." Your life counts counts for much with the Lord. With Him as your confidence your life can make a difference touching the hearts and lives of others.

I am thankful for Jesus' acceptance and unconditional love for me. He loves me at all times, regardless! Loving Jesus comes so easy. He's what love is all about. "Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us." Romans 8:37b-38a, 39b MSG

My hope is in Jesus. Without Jesus I would be without hope in this world. He makes my life worth living, giving me the strength to go on. Jesus is the Word and His word gives hope even when there is no hope. I am thankful for the hope that I have in his Word. "Your strength to continue comes from your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 1:3b NIRV

I am thankful that I am never alone, because I have Jesus. I can count on Him to always be there for me no matter what! Jesus never disappoints! He always gives his best to me. He has my heart. Nobody is worth coming between me and my Jesus! He's all that really matters in this life!

Celebrate Springtime, Celebrate Easter

God's gift to us that we celebrate during the springtime Easter season is the most incredible gift of all. What a gift of love from the very heart of God himself! This gift of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ is such a personal gift of God to us. Just think, not just to us, but to the whole world! It's a gift that we can't do without, because it is life itself, eternal life. "God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die." John 3:16 CEV

The personal gift of Jesus Christ in giving his very life's blood on the cross of Calvary makes newness of life and hope available to one and all. Our sins are cleansed by the precious blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His death and resurrection of life brought about His free gift of salvation, the greatest miracle of all. "Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is so good, and by raising Jesus from death, he has given us new life and a hope that lives on. The Lord Jesus saves us... through his kindness." 1 Peter 1:3 CEV, Acts 15:11 GW

How fitting it is for the celebration of Easter to be in the springtime. This is a favorite time of the year for many people and understandably so. God's beautiful creation is enjoyed watching the earth come alive again from its winter slumber. The sights and fragrances of the first flowers in bloom and the greenery of the earth springing up with its blossoming trees are such delightful blessings! "Praise your God! He breathes on winter—suddenly it’s spring! Look around you: Winter is over! Spring flowers are in blossom all over. The whole world’s a choir—and singing! Lilacs are exuberantly purple and perfumed, and cherry trees fragrant with blossoms." Psalm 147:12b, 18b MSG, Song of Solomon 2:11a, 12a, 13a MSG

Refreshing spring showers watering the earth with their relaxing effect are a welcomed blessing after a drought. A rainbow with all its beautiful colors after a spring shower is a reminder of God's love and faithfulness to us. "God’s love can always be trusted, and his faithfulness lasts as long as the heavens." Psalm 89:2 CEV

God is a God of all seasons. Celebrate springtime and Easter with all its blessings of life every season by sharing God's gift of love, Jesus Christ with others. "You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. God is able to shower all kinds of blessings on you. So in all things and at all times you will have everything you need." Matthew 5:14a MSG, 2 Corinthians 9:8a NIRV
