I am a philosophy professor at a small university in eastern North Carolina as well as a writer of three novels (End of Summer, Unpardonable Sin, and Obedience) and two collections of poetry (From Field to Thicket; Hiding from the Reaper). I also enjoy playing chess, vegetable gardening, and intellectual discussion. A few years ago I was formally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level I (or Asperger's Syndrome)..
