It is time, indeed past time for the body of Christ to wake up and take action. Contact your federal, state, local representatives, and develop a relationship with them holding them accountable. Vote the evildoers out of office, and quit calling our submission a godly thing when it is a apathetic, cowardly thing. Above all stand up, and proclaim God's truth at every opportunity. Take a righteous stand for liberty and the pursuit of happiness! Matthew 11:15-17
If we don't realize this opportunity for revival now, we will sit back and let our nation be destroyed! Acts 4:1-33

"given to us exceedingly great and precious promises"
"may be partakers of the divine nature"
"escape corruption"
Peter wrote all this is obtained by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM. Seems to me to be enough spiritual force to conquer the corruption in our government today. Particularly if the body of Christ would stand together against our enemy.
But brother Ray, how do I obtain this righteousness and knowledge?
Answer: Read God's book!!!

Don't Be Fooled
1 Peter 5:8

In these difficult times, we can't afford to let ourselves be consumed by fear and anxiety by focusing on the foolishness of the ungodly in our government. It is easy to become self-centered if we only regard how we may be affected.
Fear not! God has a plan for good. He wants us to get our mind off ourselves and onto Him because He is our refuge and fortress (Ps. 91). When we rely on our own limited perspective, confusion and hopelessness will be the outcome. When we rely on the character and nature of God as revealed in His word; faith, hope, and assurance become our strength. His truth is our anchor in troubled times.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for a lost world. We have the opportunity of a lifetime right now to give hope to others through this salvation message which will turn the direction of our nation toward the saving grace of our Lord.
Be the change you want to see in this nation!

Camp Out At The Table

Psalm 23:5 "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies . . ."
What enemy are you fighting today? Spiritual, physical, financial? Sickness. addiction, immorality, fear, bitterness, jealousy? Washington, state, local government? God says He has prepared a table of promises for you in the presence of your enemies. Yea, but where is the table? In your lap or somewhere in your home gathering dust!
What does one do at the table? Eat!!! Jesus responded to the enemy, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Mtt. 4:4).
When the symptoms, temptations, desires, lies of the enemy persist after you have taken your stand on God's word, continue to feed at the table of promise that He has prepared for you - the Holy Bible. As you continue to sit at the table and feed, your faith is strengthened, and the enemy will flee (Jas. 4:7).
