Day 2. I have expressed many times my appreciation for medical professionals who keep my heart ticking, my lungs working, my blood circulating, my eyes seeing, my knees bending and my brain sharp. Without these wonderful folks I would likely not now be alive and able to express my feelings. I haven't ever told any of my medical team how much their tireless work has made my life enjoyable, but I'm pretty sure they know how valuable their service is to me. #givethanks
