Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. (Mark 9:24)
Several years ago, at our Wednesday church prayer service, I was asked about putting Joe Rogan on our prayer list for salvation. As the pastor I did not want to say "No" because I believe and teach that we need to pray for the Holy Spirit to move on the hearts of the unsaved in order to for them to see the truth of the gospel message and their need to be saved. So, we put Joe Rogan on our prayer list. Still, I had my doubts thinking, what really will our prayers accomplish? I'm not saying our feeble prayers are the reason Rogan has been going to church, but it sure encourages me to keep him on our prayer list!

The very sight of the cross is offensive to those who hate God. They despise and revile anything that reminds them of the God who loves them. For too long, those of us who love the sight of the cross, who draw comfort from the sight of the cross, have been denied our right to rejoice in the cross because of a few thin-skinned reprobates.
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
(1 Corinthians 1:18)
