I want so much to learn how to skydive and get my license to jump by myself, but there are only 2 drop zones here in the Philippines, and they are quite far from where I live. Plus they only offer tandems. There are no drop zones here that offer Accelerated Free Fall(AFF) courses, so not sure what I am going to do, but I will figure something out. I really believe that skydiving will help so much with my anxiety. They say that skydiving teaches a person to live in the "here and now".
When I first got back into running 2 yeas ago, I was 220 lbs, and could barely run .5 miles. Up till now, I am persistent with running 3 to 4 days a week, and have gotten myself to where I can run 8 miles, and am now training for a half marathon. I also have some speed that I have never had before. I want to praise and thank the Lord for giving me the time and allowing me to be persistent with it. It is all because of him, not me.
I am retired U.S. Navy, and Desert Storm vet. I am an independent, moderately dispensational, King James Bible believing Baptist, and director of KJB Right Division Radio. I am a runner, and looking into getting back into competitive bowling and also learning skydiving. I hope that I will be able to get my license to jump by myself.
