I am a bible believing and living conservative, but I do not follow the traditions of men. I seek the pure truth by reading history and like minded experts or texts that are accepted by all honest and bible based teachers.
Salvation is the work of God by election from before the foundation of the world through the work of His Son our Messiah in dying for our sins after living a sinless life and rising from the dead to show His work was accepted by the Father. Faith is a gift of God to His new creations, so that we have nothing to boast of, in the works we do that He has prepared for us to walk in. We are called to be holy as He is holy and to put sin to death in our lives in all its forms even though we will never be perfect or sinless until we are called home to be with our Saviour in heaven.
We are told to take the gospel with us wherever we go in this world as we go through our life doing whatever we find to do with all our might as unto the Eternal God.
I like to have the bible written in a way that is fully translated instead of using words that are more vague like "LORD" instead of "I AM" or "The Eternal one" or "Lord" instead of "Lord of lords" which are their meanings if you use the bible dictionary and there are many other such examples that have cause many unnecessary errors, divisions and false teachings between believers. (e.g. baptize = to fully submerge in water, so why not translate it as such and avoid the divisions?)
