Two early ones today. The biggest thing for me is that I am taking a new view of what's appropriate for handling this massive Dem voter fraud that's getting dangerously close to being gotten away with. But I'll go to point #2 first, just because it's short, quick, and easy to get out of the way. To wit, if there is a Prez Joe and a Dem legislature that wants to forgive college loans and make college free, they DAMN sure better not practice age discrimination and not allow somebody like me to go back and get the free degrees that I deserve (and could actually understand well enough to make use of, something clearly beyond even the youthful leadership class as represented by the ignorant like of AOC and her ilk).
The other point is more fundamental, and more controversial. As this electoral campaign wound on, I considered the Dem fear-mongering about Trump resisting a transition was pure silliness. That was before I saw the unbelievable collection of ways the Dems were stealing the election. My earlier view may have been naive, but it was naive only in that I never dreamed they would be doing the degree of cheating they have and are doing. And how deep and exhaustive is their network of "insurance policies" (thank you, Strozk and Page, for being careless enough to put the term in our lexicon with that context), from workers at poll level to voting machines to media to political and judicial insertions making stopping any of it virtually impossible.
I think my naive earlier view overlooked one big thing when I figured that whole "watch out, Trump's going to resist" thing was ludicrous. I missed that they actually knew they were cheating so badly, could get caught, and that could made such resistance by the Trump side completely justified and not even surprising. The key, of course, is there would be no resisting a LEGITIMATE election loss, but resisting an ILLEGITIMATE one might be the only appropriate action to maintain any semblance of governmental integrity in our country.
I have been highly critical of the rioting tactics of BLM/Antifa. They have destroyed much of our country, all for a premise based on the proven lie of "Hands up, don't shoot" and everything that's sprung from its continued dissemination despite it's having been utterly disproved. But even if those riots were based on a false premise, the rioters certainly BELIEVED, MORE than wholeheartedly, in the faulty premises that spawned their destructive "protestations." If those actions were deemed justifiable for a bogus underlying reason, how much more justifiable would similar tactics be for something legitimate like stopping stealing an election, preventing an illegitimate taking of control of our government?
I don't like where this is going, but it's clear what the "where" is where it's going. I just hope we're prepared for it. The right side of the aisle, of the country, has very little experience with "handling" matters this way. But the old, tried and true, civil ways of defending truth and liberty being thwarted by these myriad "insurance policies" may ultimately be forcing their hand. Better get good at it, and braver than they've been in anybody's living memory, fast, if fairness is to have a chance of preservation.
OK, this one isn't a flip, but it's a flip of a result the Dems thought was one going their way, counter to the red wave of all the rest. Interesting that it makes no mention of the candidate asking for recount, just that the error was "found."

There are things that on the surface seem like minor irritants, but are truly indicative of things much worse below the surface. Kind of like a mole that changes potentially indicating melanoma, though the mole itself doesn't really hurt or cause any problem on its own. The fact that Pfizer notified Biden before Trump that they'd soon be announcing the success of their vaccine trial is one such thing. It makes no sense, and the call itself doesn't actually hurt much of anything, but it sure shows who's colluding with whom, and it doesn't get hard to figure out why. Trump has been working his butt off to get control of medical costs, and in so doing has been very tough on big pharma, wringing out as much of their excess profit as possible while still allowing them motivation for R&D, a delicate path to negotiate. One of the big failings of Obamacare was that, in order to pass it, Obama had to get in bed with big pharma and insurance companies to get their lobbies on board with the mystery program Nancy assured us would be fine even if we could only learn what was in it after it passed. Big pharma remembers who they were in bed with and who's been being tough on 'em... they're not confused as to how and where their bread will be buttered. Good riddance, Trump, hello bigger profits thanks to Biden.

Last thought for the morning, actually leftover from Thursday, on the election integrity thing.
We will likely end up with Biden eking things out, pulling out wins in a whole bunch of near 50/50 states with extended counting of mail ballots being turned into vote numbers in late counting trickling in. It may well be that's where it should have ended up. But it would feel a lot better if we had some sense that's REALLY the way it FAIRLY would have ended up. Not even talking about the fake news influence, with repeated polls averaging about 10% across the board more favorable to Biden than what the numbers really were, in addition to the more rhetorical, policy-skewing falsehoods. Simply on the counting issue.
There's lots of anecdotal evidence of fraud, like the 120 year old who voted and would've qualiied him as the oldest man in the world until it was found he was long dead, and people who went to the poll and were told they'd already cast their ballots (they hadn't) and thus could not vote. These documented incidences are fairly isolated, not proof of systemic (hmm, there's that racism associated word in a different context) bias. But if there IS no systemic bias affecting these late counts, it sure looks suspicious why all these hotspots of urban late counting are flaunting the law and even court rulings and denying REQUIRED poll-watching requirements. Why were they keeping poll watchers 100 feet back in places, where they were actually so far they were using binoculars to try to track what was happening? Why were they putting up paper and cardboard barriers on windows that should have been observaton portals to the counting floors? Why were people on those floors typically 4-1 Dems over Reps, and in some places even from the distance-enforced observation, seen to be universally wearing masks saying "Biden-Harris?" **
Preventing the observation is to me kind of a tell-tale thing. I don't think it would be being done were there no hanky-panky going on. Maybe some of my Dem friends can tell me what they think might be the legitimate reason to defy the law, even defy court orders to uphold that law, saying observers have to be allowed to observe. I mean, I can think some possible reasons. Maybe kiddy porn was being shown in those counting rooms. Maybe dope was being smoked in those counting rooms. Maybe people were openly masturbating in those counting rooms. I don't think any of those are likely, but if not vote-altering hanky-panky, WHAT was it that they didn't think could stand the light of day? I could even accept an answer like, "We just say f*** the law," because that's been the Dem policy from open borders to sanctuary cities to let the rioters riot to don't prosecute or allow bail or jail criminals. If any of my Dem friends can give me what would be a LEGITIMATE reason to prevent legally required observaton, I'm willing to listen to their argument, because maybe I'm missing something. Maybe they have word that all Republican observers are covid positive and won't wear masks" (That still wouldn't explain covering glass, though, would it?) Anybody?
If enough hanky-panky is going on that it needs to be hidden, it also begs the question, how much went on before it was so close and we started looking real hard for it?
** (I love footnotes): at least they were wearing masks, even if Biden ones.
