Early in the morning, the reading of the Bible and time spent with the Lord in prayers will fill our soul and spirit with sustenance for the rest of the day. Let’s accept Jesus’ invitation. From ICA - 365 Daily Kingdom Living in The Bible App Day 152 Read: 2 Samuel 18-19; John 20; Psalms 119:153-176; Proverbs 16:14-15 Devotional: Father And Son Why give grace and mercy to those who offend us? They too are someone’s precious children whose parents may be crying out silently on their behalf. Despite Absalom’s sins against the family, kingdom and himself, King David’s love towards his son did not change. Are we not the same with our own child? Prayer: Lord, let me be gentle and gracious. Whilst I remember that the people I am dealing with are someone’s precious children, I shall also see them as my own so that when I am to pass judgment on them I shall be kind and gentle, just the way that I wish my children to be treated. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #readyourbibledaily#prayeveryday
From ICA - 365 Daily Kingdom Living in The Bible App Day 151 Read: 2 Samuel 17; John 19; Psalms 119:129-152; Proverbs 16:12-13 Devotional: To Lead Some say a leader is born. Others believe a person acquires leadership qualities through training. Regardless, God places people in the position of leadership – in family, workplace, organizations, and churches. Each Divine mandate calls for a leader to act righteously and to avoid vices. Prayer: Lord, help me to be humble and meek so I can serve others in the leadership position that You put me in. I will be Your vigilant and faithful servant and will shun evil. Let Your righteousness be my guiding light. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #readyourbibledaily#prayeveryday

And what a lot of efforts we channel to these ends! Doubtless, social status and money in the bank will bring a measure of comfort and security. But we Christians know that life itself is a gift from God, and our life-giving hope is also from Him. Prayer: Lord, my confidence is grounded in You. Thank You for upholding me. Let the Scripture today be my prayer so that I may live well, and have hope that will lift me out from the pit of shame. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #readyourbibledaily#prayeveryday
I'm a born-again Christian, a new creation. The old is gone. The new lives through Jesus Christ, daily picking up my cross and carrying it through life. I am not bragging when I say I am a Christian. I am humbly saying that I am saved by grace. I am free. I am forgiven. And I am loved by the One who created me. I am happily married to my husband Steve. We have been married for since 2011. I have one son and three step-daughters. The kids are adults and the girls have blessed us with 10 grandchildren. My son and his girlfriend live in Ohio and I miss them daily.
