Towards the beginning of the season, I have some encouragement and pointers to a young man struggling with his first time on the ice. Tonight while I was practicing (playing), he confidently skated up to me to thank me. It was a surprise to see how well he was doing. May you find something unexpected for which to be grateful also.
It would be a dull weekend off without an unanticipated repair. I'm so grateful Les' shop is open Saturdays and just down the road where I can get parts!
