Joe’s Journal, March 17, 2025 - Facts About President Trump’s Government Purge
Democrats and their “useful idiot” propagandists in the “fake news” media are hyperventilating over President Trump's mandate to terminate certain government workers and Leftist generals in the Pentagon.
The weepers and whiners cry that such actions create a constitutional crisis and are encouraging the fired employees to take to the streets in protest. America-hating Leftists would relish the reality of American cities burning and the White House under siege.
This is not unusual behavior for Democrats and their sycophants. Think back to the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis and elsewhere? Remember when dozens of Secret Service agents were injured after the Democrat National Committee paid anarchists to storm the White House gates? These same domestic terrorists tried to burn down St. John's Church in Lafayette Square!
Examine the mobs of lunatic Leftists whose brains are afflicted with terminal cases of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
So far, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has fired less than a dozen “woke” generals and other officers. “Dictators or wannabe kings fire generals who don’t agree with their politics,” wrote Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) on X. “What Trump and Hegseth are doing is un-American, unpatriotic. It’s [the] definition of politicizing our military.”
Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) warned that Trump was attempting to politicize the military. “Donald Trump’s quest for power is endangering our military,” said Reed, the ranking member on the Senate Armed Services Committee. “The implications for our national security cannot be overstated. A clear message is being sent to military leaders: Failure to demonstrate personal and political loyalty to Trump could result in retribution, even after decades of honorable service.”
If Trump’s and Hegseth’s decisions to fire less than a dozen military leaders amounts to a coup, what did Democrats say about former President B. Hussein Obama?
Obama fired 197 generals over a five-year span in his administration. He fundamentally transformed the mission and the standards of the U.S. military by replacing patriotic warriors with “snowflakes” who have trouble figuring out their pronouns.
Obama turned the military into a social engineering experiment where service people were told to “hug out” their problems and to check their white privilege.
These generals and officers are being purged not at the direction of Trump, but at the insistence of the American people.
As for the allegation that President Trump has waged an unprecedented war against taxpayer-funded workers, this is just another Democrat lie. Trump is only making decisions that any sensible and responsible businessman would do for a company that cannot meet its financial obligations. Workers who refuse to show up for their jobs will receive “pink slips.” Private sector business owners make the same determinations about their employees.
One should not be surprised to learn that Democrat presidents have downsized the federal government much more than Republican presidents have. It’s outrageous that the “Drive-by” media refuses to report this truth.
President Harry Truman cut 566,000 federal jobs while Bill Clinton eliminated 339,000 jobs.
Delusional Democrats are screaming, claiming that the massive job buyouts proposed by President Trump are illegal, but they never objected when Clinton did the same thing. Forbes reported that Clinton's buyout plan was meant to “reduce the layers of bureaucracy and micro-management that were tying the government in knots.” President Trump and Department of Government Efficiency manager Elon Musk are reinstituting Clinton’s government-shrinking policies.
Forbes also reported that the federal workforce was reduced by 64,000 under Democrats while increased by 237,000 under Republicans. This is what happens when fiscally irresponsible Republicans in Name Only (RINOS) are elected to positions of political authority.
There is precedent for every idea President Trump has proposed and every action he has taken. Obama-appointed federal judges have rendered decisions that undermine implementation of some job reductions, but ultimately sensible courts will agree that Trump maintains the constitutional authority to decide who works for the U.S. government.
For all the aggrieved “Deep State” Democrats who are about to become unemployed, here's some advice that “Walking Gaffe Machine” Joe Biden gave to unemployed coal miners: “Learn how to code!”
