#scott/Hawley2024 is what's going on! This would be my pick for a Presidential ticket.
I will say this though, about 2024. Here's the ticket I would love to see: SCOTT/HAWLEY.
Both are young, vital, visionary.
Both are well-spoken and capable.
Both put the country ahead of the agenda.
Both are Godly men, family men, men of good character.
And both are freakin' easy on the eyes! (Okay, I had to throw that in lol)

It was bad enough that troops were sent home with COVID (unchecked until they returned to their home states). It was horrible that they were forced into a cold garage where they had to sleep on cement and they had to share a single bathroom.
But now we have the latest attempt to kill off our military. And it's not coming from ISIS. It stems from Democrat incompetency.
From the very beginning, the Democrats who called these troops to defend the Capitol from an imaginary attack were being catered by local restaurants that contracted with the government to provide meals.
While Democrat leadership enjoys the food provided at the Capitol Cafe or the Senate Diningroom, the troops get pretty crappy stuff delivered to them daily.
There was a big news story about a local pizza place delivering pizza to the troops as though it were a daily thing. It was not. It was contracted through the Pentagon.
Among the things currently making the troops ill:
Metal shavings found in food.
Raw beef and undercooked chicken.
Food that was cold due to long delivery waits.
Troops are also grossly underfed. The average active-duty soldier requires a minimum of 2000 calories a day. One apple, a glazed donut, and a child's fruit drink just don't cut it.
So now the soldiers are living on MREs. I guess that's better but really?
Maybe the soldiers should take over the Capitol Cafe and the Senate Diningroom. They deserve much better food than fat politicians do.
Remember when liberal politicians told their constituents and others in their state to NOT TRAVEL? They made it basically illegal, if not immoral, to go to other countries.
So now, they're scathing Ted Cruz for taking his daughters to Cancun in the "middle of a power crisis". According to Cruz:
“...with school canceled for the week, our girls asked to take a trip with friends. Wanting to be a good dad, I flew down with them last night and am flying back this afternoon."
Photos of a man who "looked like" Ted Cruz circulated around the internet. And even FOX was critical of him for doing it. But the girls wanted to go and good Dad Ted wasn't about to let them travel alone.
His girls are 10 and 13 and they were to meet up with the families of friends. So it wasn't like he was going to stay and play. They were. He was not.
I'm not convinced this criticism deserves much attention, but since the media is paying attention, I'm going to respond by saying there's no hypocrisy here. Neither the Governor nor Cruz ever said people "shouldn't travel on account of the snow/ice situation". You were advised not to go out unless you have to. And, as someone who has raised her own group of teens and pre-teens, I can tell you that braving the snow and ice is far easier than listening to them whine for a week because they can't be with their friends.
This morning the wife of America's Anchorman came on to open the Limbaugh Show. In true, and respectful fashion, she announced that our dear Rush went to be with the Lord this morning.
Rush Limbaugh inspired people to greatness, to rationale and reason, and to freedom.
He will truly be missed.
