Amazon Fraud and Customer Service
Last month I ordered almost 200 dollars worth of tools and Kalimba Parts from Amazon and when they emailed me they were shipping three shipments to an address five mails away I called Customer Service after checking and seeing my account had been hacked and my address changed.
I was informed that my shipment was in transit and nothing could be done until the three deliveries were completed. (So they cannot contact their own drivers to stop theft?)
I´m 80 year old widower Combat Veteran and my daughter went into the Disturbed Position! The next email had a photo of one of my packages sitting on someone elses pourch and my daughter called Customer Service and was informed that nothing could be done until the packages were missing for 48 hours.
My daughter was livid and demanded to speak to a Supervisor. After perhaps 10 minutes of excuses she was handed over to the new Amazon Fraud Department. Over the next three weeks I received a really nasty email promising to terminate my account if this happened one more time. Of course I had already changed my password and chose 2 Step Verification and they did not bother to check that. I feel that the snotty reply insinuated that I was a thief from the sentence structuring.
After almost a month, I believe, I was instructed to call my bank because my card had been frauded and my only recourse was to contact my bank. The bank said Amazon Customer Service does not deal squarely with them and my money would not, likely, be recovered. If you deal with Amazon and you loose a shipment because some punk hacked your account, I feel for you.
