Is it crazy for me to use rock instead of styrofoam packing? Not once you know the rest of the story. The "rock" is actually dinosaur bone, and using it to tightly fill the spaces is the most efficient way to ship some types of fossils. And when it comes to a world gone crazy, once you know the rest of the story (Jesus is the Answer) you'll be in a position to put you mind on things above, just as scripture says you should do.
