It is said that the world created by God is composed of matter, energy, and thought. All of existence is composed of these elements. This leads me to two separate thoughts....
1st Question what lies beyond Matter, Energy, and Thought as God is above his creation, outside of it. God is not bound by time as that is an artificial human concept. So it is a curious thing that God exists beyond creation and because of this is unknowable except for what has been revealed to us.
2nd question is Since thought in the form of creation and Intention has both created and destroyed is energy required to power this in the form of passion, or is thought absent from energy still capable of creation such as in the form of a dream. It occurs to me that thought manifested in creation cannot create without energy as it remains a dream, but with the combination of all three new things are created such as technologies, philosophical concepts, and so on.
Thoughts?
I issue a direct challenge to you today; when I am so upset that I am frayed around the edges I pray the Jesus Prayer 200 times once a day, and the peace I feel at the end, the lightness I feel at the end warms my soul, and refreshes me.
Because of this I challenge you to pray the Jesus Prayer 200 times. 100 of those times for yourself saying;
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have Mercy on me a Sinner.
And another 100 Jesus Prayers using the formula for praying for others an example of which is;
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on (Person, place, organization etc) and by their prayers have mercy on me.
If you really want to add variety pray for four different people, places etc. 25 times each.
At the end pay attention to yourself how you feel, and your level of peace, and in the peace of your heart I challenge you to commit to this practice once a day.
You know it's interesting I often feel the need to associate with facebook for some reason, despite the continual presence of all of those liberal idiots and their heckling, and the continuous attempts to censor a number of my posts, it is hard to make that transfer and simply discontinue face book, I think one reason is because facebook acts as a massive phone directory, and information repository. I think it is time to pursue this a little more and identify the same things present here as well.
In keeping with tradition I have taken the Orthodox name Nektarios to Commemorate my reception into Orthodoxy.
