"Environmental policies designed by white power brokers at the expense of the poor has poisoned the air they breathe, fueling cancers and leaving communities weakened in the path of the virus. A lack of federal funding left the most vulnerable communities cut off from healthcare at the most critical moment."
-Environmental outrages are a fact. But the EPA was established in 1970, 50 years ago.
-White power brokers exploit the poor, and most poor are white. Race is not a determining factor.
-The role of the Federal government in healthcare is not established by law or precedent. How can government be responsible for what is not a government function?
-Who should provide healthcare? Who should pay for it? Should doctors be forced to become low-wage government workers?

"Decades of discrimination in housing corralled people of color into tightly packed neighborhoods, fueling the virus' spread. Those neighborhoods tend to lie in "food deserts," leading to diabetes, obesity and heart disease that make people more likely to die from the virus."
-Discrimination in housing is a fact. But it was outlawed in 1964, 56 years ago.
-Food deserts result from responsible businesses avoiding the risk of theft, looting, and burning of businesses as a form of social protest.
-The immediate solution is for families to leave an area found to be oppressive.
-How can we force justice into city government? And when should we? Who will decide?

Answering USA Today:
"America's education and economic systems are still unequal, disproportionately leaving people of color out of higher-wage jobs. When COVID-19 struck, more people of color were serving as essential workers directly in the path of the virus."
-“Unequal” does not demonstrate racial bias.
-Education is run by LOCAL government.
-The economic system has provided tremendous opportunity for all races, illustrated by financial success.
-Inequality was created or ignored by LOCAL leaders.
-Who is responsible for bailing out local leaders from their mistakes? Don't bailouts mean it's better to create problems than to do the work of solving them?

Big tech, namely Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Google, are facing antitrust charges in Washington. Perhaps their enthusiastic support for politicians is intended to allow them to continue avoiding justice.
