I don't know why the graphics aren't coming up, but it doesn't matter; it's a text commentary. Anyway, this needs to be said again, and this includes 'the man in the mirror'. We can keep on trying the same old things again and again (with predictable results), but what this commentary says is undeniably true. Let's remember what Albert Einstein said and not keep trying the same thing (Politics) again and again and expecting different results--That's insanity! The sooner there is true Godly, Christian revival in this nation, the sooner we will recover. I am just as guilty as anyone of relying on 'self' to succeed. Have our political efforts succeeded in our success as a nation. Of course not. We can't afford to be like the Old Testament Jews, wandering around in the desert for 40 years. Personally, I would like to enter "The Promised Land". Let's all ditch "politics" and do it the right way from now on!

I agree with you 100%, Senator Manchin! But I do have to wonder: Are our differences too fundamental for there to be any sort of meaningful reconciliation (in the truest sense of the word)? That is the question... Time will tell.

This is the book that every American (U.S. citizen) should read right now--ESPECIALLY every member of Congress--So they can see the damage that has been (and is being) done, and start reversing it. The original book was very well received. Too bad it didn't stop the 'reverse Robin Hood' silent robbing of the Middle Class... Ben Carson and President Ronald Reagan aren't the only ones to realize that our government is the problem. Meanwhile, we blindly rearrange the deck chairs as the Titanic (this once great country of ours) sinks... If that doesn't SUCK, I don't know what does! Write your Congressman/woman, and tell them to READ THIS BOOK.
